Each summer C&R Press publishes 1-3 perfect bound chapbooks of poetry, short stories or other types of literary and hybrid work. Winter Soup Bowl Chapbooks are between 20-45 pages of material not including front and back matter. Selection(s) receive ten copies of the book, a $100 honorarium and a hosted reading in Brooklyn, NYC. Entries are open from the winter solstice, December 21st to the vernal equinox, March 20th each year.
We look for work that is developed and has a strong singular voice. We encourage emerging and established authors to submit their best work.
